Once you pass under the arch, nothing reminds you of the XXI century. Even plants correspond to the time of the dinosaurs from Cal Orck'o.At the top of the portal, the strange silhouette of a pterosaur azhdarchid, flying reptile, folds his wings
On the right, running towards us, we see a scared dinosaur ornithopod Iguanodon, fleeing from a carnivore.
The chasing Carnivore is an ABELISAURIO Iguanodon, not a very large carnivorous, it has a reinforced skull and rough characteristics. This dinosaur is from the southern continents during the mid to late Cretaceous.
At some distance to the right of the road, there is another carnivore called abelisaurio, this one is from the CARNOTAURINOS group.
This abelisaurio is one of the largest known, with about 8 feet long. The Carnotaurino attention is centered on an immigrant from the Northern Hemisphere, a ceratopsian, herbivorous which reached South America by the recent union of the Americas.
The ceratopsian looks worried about the huge carnotaurino who observes with menacing eyes, has impressive teeth, hidden behind the peak, this dinosaur became a voracious devouring machine of plants.MARINE BRIDGE AREA
As we approached the bridge there are two marine animals from the late Cretaceous. On the right there is a plesiosaur elasmosaurid, long neck and short tail.
To the left, a mosasaur, an aquatic reptile with large head, related to monitor lizards and the famous Komodo dragon
Crossing the bridge, we see an armored herbivore American ancestry. Is an armored ornithischian dinosaur known as Ankylosaurus
they relied on their formidable defensive armor, its walking near a group of cycads regardless of the presence of local carnivores.THE LAKE
To the left of the main road, up the small road, a whole ecosystem is on the brink of a Cretaceous freshwater lagoon: A powerful CROCODILE BAURUSUQUIO, with huge teeth searches for food among the plants on the left
On a rock to the right there is an ESFENODONTE REPTILE, resting under the sun with its spiny back.
From distance, a large SNAKE MADTSOIDA, is exhibiting their characteristic and rudimentary back legs in order to reach the water.
On the left, a powerful and moving armored unhurried MEIOLANIDA TURTLE among magnolias.
A small dinosaur, another IGUONADAN herbivore, is surprised by a movement in the water, which alters their nervous temperament.
Like the medium ornithopod, this small species was surprisingly fast and difficult to catch.
UNDER THE TITAN
The road goes on among the cypresses at the foot of an impressive titanosaur, the largest known land animal, the last of the giant dinosaurs,
a peaceful, long-necked herbivore, with 36 meters in length, feeds off the treetops. At the foot of the large sauropod, somewhat hidden between its legs, is the dinosaur's helpless offspring, with little more than three months old, is two meters long.
At the edge of the cliff, a huge carnivore TYRANNOSAURUS, of about 12 meters size pounces on its unsuspecting prey.
A hadrosaur, duck-billed dinosaur, a tangible evidence of the presence of North American dinosaurs in South America, is preparing to begin the flight from the fearsome carnivore.
THE EDGE OF THE CLIFF
As we near the gazebo, near the edge of the cliff, a small variety of abelisaurio a NOASAURIO carnivore,
challenges visitors. The view of the dinosaur tracks offered by the gazebo is amazing; we can see the edge of the ancient lake as it was 68 million years ago.
On the triangular space a feathered dinosaur, forerunner of modern birds. This is a UNENLAGINO, a carnivorous dinosaur, a close relative of the velociraptor that haughty displays his colorful plumage.
From the top of a rock wall, there is an angry mother Saltasaurio, with colorful plates and shields on her back, which indignantly defends her nest from a fearless crocodile notosuquio, master thief of eggs.
There is also an interesting Museum of Paleontology, a library, a gift shop and a fast food restaurant where you can relax with a magnificent view of the city, to complete this adventure.
